Ink Me Well

Privacy policy

Effective 25 September 2026

Ink Me Well helps people find the meaning of a tattoo, the right place to wear it, and a licensed artist in Harare to do it. To do that we need a little about you. This page says what, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.

Who we are

Ink Me Well is run by SuperDarkCode Labs (Private) Limited, a company registered in Zimbabwe, which is the data controller for the information described here. Questions about your data go to privacy@localhost.co.zw.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Your account and what is in it stay until you delete them. Records of bookings, payments and payouts are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted, but with your name and number removed. Sign-in codes are kept in scrambled form and are useless after five minutes.

Your rights

Under the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, object to how we use it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@localhost.co.zw and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ).

Deleting your account

In the app: You → Delete account. On the web: /account/delete/. We remove your name, number, diaries, pins, portfolio and everything else that is yours, straight away. A booking still in progress, or money still on its way to an artist, has to finish first; the app tells you if so.

Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections. Sign-in codes are stored only as a one-way hash, expire in five minutes and lock after five wrong tries. Access to the admin is limited to the people who run the service.

Children

Booking a tattoo through Ink Me Well is for people aged 18 and over. The Archive, the Field Guide and the stories can be read by anyone, but we do not knowingly hold accounts for children. If you believe a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top is the version in force.
